Mattias Svensson
Mattias Svensson is Head of Gotland School of Music Composition and teaches ear training, harmony, notation, counterpoint, compositional techniques, form, analysis, conducting, film music and composition.
Mattias Svensson (born in Ystad 1971) studied composition and theory in Malmö and Stockholm.
Mattias Svensson has composed mainly chamber music, but also chamber opera, orchestral music and electro acoustic music. Mattias Svensson taught musicology at Lund University 1997-2000 and became 2000 Head of Gotland School of Music Composition.
